What levels are there?

Young Apprenticeships

For young people in school aged 14-16.

Students who are still at school and starting Year 10 will be able to start a Young Apprenticeship programme. This includes work placements, study with an employer, college or training company. You will learn through a mixture of classroom work and on the job training. Advice and guidance are provided and you will work towards job related qualifications.

Apprenticeships

For young people aged 16 upwards.

Apprentices learn on the job, getting qualifications and earning money at the same time. Employers have helped to decide what skills are needed, so you can be sure you are learning useful and practical skills.

Advanced Apprenticeships

For young people who have completed an Apprenticeship and want to go further.
